Hello SFU Faculty of Health Science Students!
The FHS Peer Mentorship Program is a faculty-specific, peer mentoring group open to undergraduate students. Our goal is to strengthen the FHS community by connecting 1st year and upper year Health Sciences students to create a welcoming environment for all.
Over the course of each academic year at SFU, our volunteer mentors act as a social and academic resource for their mentees as they adjust to their first year of university life. While they are not tutors or counselors, they are friendly, outgoing invidividuals trained to listen, advise, and guide students to SFU's various campus resources.
We are enthusiastic about our future, and happy that you are interested in the program! If you wish to sign up to become a mentor or mentee, please click the "Sign Up" tab. Feel free to explore the site to find out more about our mentors and the events we host!
Keep checking this site for upcoming FHS Peer Mentorship events and updates!
